A facepalm is having a place on the internet specifically for people who watch a certain TV show they dislike just so they can rant about it.
A headdesk is a post on such a site like this one:

in the number of nutcases in a society! Good Lord, this is the other side of freedom of speech (and lack of a secret police), the crazies have access to the internet! They've gone from rambling on the street corners to being stupid on the world wide web.
Indeed. We used to lock up our lunatics in cages or asylums, and charge visitors to look at them being crazy. Same thinking as behind the freak show.
