Luckily, the new version of The Prisoner quickly disabused me of the notion there was a point ... other than the occasional eye candy of Jamie Campbell Bower.
As to video games changing lives: I'm now an Elf in World of Warcraft (and an old fart for not writing it WoW).
I've seen the future, and it's not the xylophone that we will use to communicate with aliens. It will be the vuvuzela! All them vuvuzelas being blown at the World Cup is sure to catch the aliens attention! Never has the world ever seen a large gathering of so many lips engaged in blowing action!

I saw the first episode of The Prisoner 'remake' - and had no inclination to see the rest.
ReplyDeleteBower's beautiful but dull, McKellen's well-acted but badly scripted and the guy who plays 6 is...just a bit annoying.
You'd make a good elf.
