Unproductive

My well has run dry, my inspiration has evaporated, my muse has moved out and shacked up with a sugar daddy from Scunthorpe.

So I think an EP of four or five songs makes a lot more sense than an album of fourteen. Yes, indeed, I don't know why I didn't see that earlier. Definitely.

Even got a title. Seeing as I've been listening to Bronski Beat recently - "The Age of Dissent".

  2. Ah, the tortured artistic soul.

You must woo your muse back -- or find a better one.

Where the hell is Scunthorpe anyway?

  3. I'm too lazy to be tortured. Or indeed artistic.

According to the great wikipedia, Scunthorpe is here. Though I didn't actually know that five minutes ago.

How many other placenames contain the word...Thor?

Good to have a new reader. And a whovian too. I knew there had to be a lady whovian somewhere, and it turns out she reads my ramblings.

  4. Thanks for the welcome. I'm fascinated by the creative process you describe. And I find you amusing.

  5. Hmm. You're the first person I've ever met who's known a Scunthorpian. As for me, I thought it a lot further north, and would have bet good wonga it wasn't in Lincolnshire. La-di-da, and all that.

An EP is as Good as an album, btw. And yours will, no doubt, be fantabulous.
