Thank you. I more-or-less dropped out of SG1 after season 6 - mainly because my main reason for watching (my never-exactly-boyfriend, an enormous fan of the show) moved away.
I did get to see the film where they defeated the Ori, and it was just like the TV show, only...bigger, louder, more expensive.
I didn’t join until season 6 when the show moved from premium to basic cable.
There is definitely a repetitiveness to the show, but at least they didn’t take themselves too seriously. If you get a chance, watch the 200th episode, appropriately titled “200”.
So true ... and so funny as I'm currently revisiting SG-1
